Don't compound one mistake by making another

It is an old aviation axiom. Sit back anylize first then act. Whind the clock. Hasty action, not well thought out or executed, can not only make things worse; it can quickly make a situation un-fixable. Think! Look for secondaries and consequences. I’m reminded of an aircraft accident a few years back. A fire warning light illuminated in the cockpit; the crew followed the rote proceedures and shut it down. The problem was, the warning sensors had been reversed and they shut down the good engine. Thank the good Lord for a Jewish Holiday and the toal dysfunction of congress. The market is up; and so is the sky. The predicted “end of the world” if immediate action is not taken, has not happened. Time to think, before we act.
