Forrest Murray has been making movies for over forty years, the last twenty-five as a producer. He produced Independent Award winners FIVE CORNERS, BOB ROBERTS, DEAD MAN OUT for HBO, Denis Leary’s NO CURE FOR CANCER for SHOWTIME, and THE SPITFIRE GRILL. Murray has produced five primetime specials for NBC and directed, written and produced an anti-George Bush/Dick Cheney election spot for Moveon.org. He has been a longtime faculty member at the American Film Institute and the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Mr. Murray has been a career-long supporter and mentor in the world of independent filmmaking.
