Severe Turbulence Event on Continental 128

Continental Flight 128 had a severe turbulence event over the Atlantic Ocean. Like Air France Flight 447, Rio de Janeiro was the origination city. The flight diverted and made an emergency landing in Miami. Twenty-six passengers were injured; fourteen were taken to the hospital. The event was without warning. That is why you always wear your seat belt while flying. Turbulence is the number one cause of injury to airline passengers. The incident aircraft was a Boeing 767; no damage reports have been released.
